LICENSE TO USE MUSIC FOR PROFIT

DJs activity falls under point I.1.1 of the methodology. Remuneration relating to the license is the minimum value of 105 RON plus VAT per year. The License is issued only for periods of 12 months, after payment of the fixed remuneration. At the license expiring term, DJs report the gross receipts and UPFR calculates and invoices to ADJPR. PUBLIC COMMUNICATION LICENSE FOR PROFIT

The License to use music for profit issued by UPFR is granted to individuals, legal persons and authorized natural persons for each activity and workstation in which they use music in public. The licenseis nottransferable. You can opt for a license validity period of up to 1 year with possibility of extension. UPFR license to use music in profit is specific to users who use music as an indispensable resource in the activity (performance, disco, club, cabaret, bar, etc). The license gives you the right to broadcast music in closed or open spaces, where he public has access and which are mentioned in the license.

As a user you are legally obliged to apply for license to use music from UPFR, which is in capacity to act as a collective management organization for the related rights of music producers.

Music is the main reason why customers come to clubs and discos. Musical recordings (phonograms) are works on which music producers represented by UPFR have related rights. Apply for the music communication license for profit.

The licenseis nottransferable.

The UPFR license of nonexclusive use of music validity is 12 months, with the value of 1200 Ron plus VAT and can be paid in maximum two equal installments.
